HKDS INTELLIGENCE

Security Intelligence Briefings, Field Reports & Risk Analysis

Field Reports. Briefings. Advisories.
From the People Who Actually See What’s Happening.

Most security content is written by marketing teams who have never conducted a threat assessment, never run a protective detail, and never walked a UHNW estate at 2 AM looking for the gap that was always going to be exploited. Ours isn’t.

HKDS Intelligence is a structured publication from our operators, analysts, and leadership,  reporting what we actually see in the field, analyzing the threats that matter in 2026, and issuing advisories when conditions on the ground change. No filler. No repackaged industry reports. No content for the sake of content.

Three Streams. One Operating Picture.

HKDS Intelligence publishes across three distinct formats, each serving a different analytical purpose and a different reader need.

OPERATIONAL OBSERVATIONS

Anonymized accounts from actual engagements. What we found when we walked into a UHNW estate in Palm Beach. What surfaced during a corporate security audit in Manhattan. What the digital exposure assessment revealed about a family office in Greenwich. Every Field Report is based on real work, with identifying details removed to protect client confidentiality.

These are the pieces that tell you what’s happening in the environments we actually operate in — not what the industry press is reporting six months later.

ANALYSIS & ASSESSMENT

Structured analysis of threat patterns, emerging vectors, and the shifts in the security environment that matter most to our clients. Longer form. More analytical. Built for readers who need to understand not just what’s happening but why it’s happening and what it means for their protective posture.

Topics range from the evolution of insider threat patterns in cleared facilities, to the weaponization of commercially available location data, to the specific ways AI voice cloning is being operationalized against family office staff in 2026.

TIME-SENSITIVE WARNINGS

When conditions on the ground change rapidly — a regional spike in drone incursions, a documented pattern of residential targeting, a new social engineering technique being used against executive assistants — we publish Threat Advisories. Short. Direct. Actionable.

Advisories are distributed first to clients on retainer, then published publicly once the immediate operational response is complete.

Why We Publish What We Publish

Most of what passes for “thought leadership” in the security industry is recycled content written by people with no operational experience, aimed at no specific audience, and designed to fill content calendars rather than inform readers.

We built HKDS Intelligence differently because the people we protect deserve better. Our clients,  UHNW families, Fortune 500 executives, critical infrastructure operators, defense sector leaders,  are intelligent, informed, and capable of processing complex analysis. They don’t need dumbed-down summaries. They need real information from people who know what they’re talking about.

Every piece we publish goes through three checks before it’s released: Is this based on actual field experience or real analytical work? Does this tell the reader something they couldn’t get from the industry press? Does this respect the reader’s intelligence? If the answer to any of those is no, we don’t publish it.

That’s why we publish fewer pieces than most security firms. And it’s why the pieces we do publish get read by the people who matter in the industries we serve.

Subscribe to Intelligence Briefings

Our Intelligence Briefings are distributed via a vetted subscription list. Readers receive field reports, analytical briefings, and threat advisories directly as they’re published, typically 2-4 pieces per month, never more.

The list is not sold, shared, or monetized in any form. It is read by Fortune 500 security directors, family office principals, former government officials, and the operators we work alongside. Subscription is free, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

The Standard Behind Every Piece

Every piece published under HKDS Intelligence meets the same analytical standard we apply to client deliverables.

Sourced. We cite specific sources when referencing external data, FBI warnings, regulatory filings, academic research, industry reporting. Unsourced claims are flagged as field observation or analytical assessment, not presented as fact.

Attributed. Every piece has a named author or clearly identified team. No anonymous content. No AI-generated filler. No ghostwritten fluff.

Reviewed. Analytical pieces go through internal review before publication. For technical subject matter, review includes operators with direct experience in the relevant domain.

Restrained. When a piece would compromise client confidentiality, operational security, or the integrity of ongoing work, we don’t publish it. Some of the most important things we see never become content. That’s the right call, and our clients understand why.

For Media & Researchers

HKDS leadership is available for media interviews and research collaboration on a selective basis, with priority given to outlets and researchers working on substantive analytical pieces rather than reactive news coverage.

From Reading About Protection to Receiving It

If you’ve read this far, you’re probably the kind of reader we built HKDS Intelligence for, someone who takes security seriously and wants to understand the environment you’re operating in before you make decisions about it.

If your protection posture needs more than analysis, we can help with that too. A Private Threat Mapping Session is a confidential, no-obligation assessment of your current security situation conducted by HKDS leadership. No sales pitch. No generic proposal. Just a structured conversation about what you’re actually facing and what a real protective program would look like for your world.

“The difference between a firm that writes about security and a firm that actually does security is the difference between reading about a fire and being in the room when it starts. We publish because we think the reading matters. We show up because the room matters more.”

— JOHN HAMILTON, HKDS Founder
